Pet:

Bringing your pet to Turkey is fine as long as you carry the live animal health and vaccination certificate with you on your journey across. The certificate must be issued no more than ten days before departure. These documents do not need to be legalised by the Turkish Consulate General as long as you accompany your pets across to Turkey.

Driving:

If you want to travel by yourself freely, you might want to bring your own car over to Turkey, buy a new one here or you can rent a car easily here. You can drive on your international driving licence until it expires but consider getting a Turkish one too, when living here. You may apply for one via the local police department .

The airline companies such as British Airways and Turkish Airlines are among a number of carriers that offer direct flights to Turkey' s major airports on a frequent basis.
